Los Zetas (pronounced: [los ˈsetas], Spanish for “The Zs”) is a Mexican criminal syndicate. Considered by the US government to be “the most technologically advanced, sophisticated, vicious, ruthlessly violent and dangerous cartel operating in Mexico”,the organization has expanded beyond the traditional purview of drug trafficking and also runs profitable sex trafficking and gun running rackets. The origins of Los Zetas date back to the late 1990s when commandos of the Mexican Army deserted their ranks and began working as the enforcement arm of the Gulf Cartel. In February 2010, Los Zetas broke away from their former employer and formed their own criminal organization

Their brutal tactics, which include beheadings to terrorize their rivals and intimidate them, torture, and indiscriminate slaughter, show that they often prefer brutality over bribery. Los Zetas are Mexico’s largest drug cartel in terms of geographical presence, overtaking their rivals, the Sinaloa Cartel.^[12] Los Zetas also operate through protection rackets, assassinations, extortion, kidnappings and other activities. The organization is based in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, directly across the border from Laredo, Texas.

As of December 2015, Los Zetas has begun identifying itself as ‘Cartel del Norte’, which translates to ‘Cartel of the North’.

Anonymous’ Operation Cartel

The operation to expose information of people who work with Los Zetas, dubbed “Operation Cartel” or Opcartel, was reportedly started as a result of an Anonymous member being kidnapped during Operation Paperstorm in Veracruz, a once peaceful city.^[183]
The New York Times mentioned that Los Zetas has access to sophisticated tracking software due to the fact that they have infiltrated Mexican law enforcement agencies, and that online anonymity might not be enough protection for Internet users.

Hey Los Zetas Drug Cartel. Remember that Islam is established in Chiapas after the Zapatista (Maya) Rebellion in 1994. The Maya tribes are embracing Islam in secret numbers. Islam is spreading in the Yucatan Peninsula and Guatemala.  Even the Sinaloa Drug Cartel of El Chapo Guzman, ELN, AUC, FARC, Zapatista EZLN Army, Governments, Sadanista and FMLN have no chance once the Muslims from the Middle East (Iraq and Syria) transform the Maya tribes into Islamic fighting force in Mexico and Central America within 20 to 50 years.
